After studying art and fashion in University, I initially pursued a career in the fashion industry in Toronto and New York City. After 10 years I decided that I needed a change of pace. I wanted to do something I felt was more worthwhile and beneficial to others. In 2016 I moved back to the Ottawa region to attend the Veterinary Technician program at Algonuin College, and now work as a Registered Veterinary Technician in my hometown of Aylmer, Quebec.
I first started combining my love for animals with my love of art in 2018, with my first portrait of a chihuahua. When I brought the painting to work I quickly had requests for more. While painting animals for others, I continue to practice and take painting classes in my spare time to grow my repertoire and learn new skills.
